16 [R]evolutions considers the disconnection and confusion faced by four post-intellectual humans who have lost touch with the animal drives of their pre-human ancestors. Theatrical sections show four characters becoming increasingly numb as threats to their animal nature become insignificant.

In stark contrast are dance sections suggesting a pure, powerful, and sometimes brutal, animal nature. These dance sections are accompanied by exquisite three-dimensional visuals that warp and morph in direct response to the dancers movement, representing the ancient “animal” with the highly futuristic. At one moment the performers dance with delicate, living strands of DNA, at another, a gigantic digital rib cage ripples and breathes as it envelops their movement. 16 [R]evolutions asks the question, can we reconnect with our core needs to feed, fight and reproduce while continuing to evolve into beings of light and intellect?
